I have decided the best way for me to learn this program is to do some of the tutorials and copy params from other artists on deviantart so I can pick them apart to see how they were made. I am not comfortable trying something on my own yet. The learning curve on this is a little high IMO. I will get there someday though!  wink

you're on the right track. I did this the same way...

if you feel ready, I've had nice and relatively easy results by just starting with
formulas-->3da-->amazing box
positions-->reset
and then zoom around..

have a nice time exploring, and feel free to ask if you have questions, people here are very helpful..
