This 3D fractal from current image at my reply is and from site WWW.JOSLEYS.COM , but using same formula like the 3D fractal kleinian group presented on site WWW.FRACTAL3D.COM/LIM.HTML .

I understand what you are doing now.
You apply a sphere inversion transformation to an image like the one below.

What I don't understand is how M3D does this internally.
I presume rays are shot to every screen pixel, and the ray is followed according to the calculated DE.
Applying a sphere inversion to the coordinates of the point on the ray puts this point elsewhere in space, and I don't see how this affects the shape of the fractal object.

Any ideas?
