Hey i thought it would be a good idea to start a public and legal torrent tracker for all fractal related content. It would serve as a public repository, for instancfe for all fractal software (and perhaps even versions) for all OS'es and all other related content. Most fractal related content is fragmented all over the internet and it would be nice to have a single place for it. If you like the idea please consider helping out.

So i made a fractal group on Hexagon.cc, which is a legal torrenttracker from the maker of the well known Isohunt.com.

Read more on it on my blog post about it: http://fractuality.wordpress.com/2009/10/30/public-fractal-torrents/

Link to the fractal torrent group on Hexagon:

I was thinking of defining a few standards for uploading the fractal material like putting all stuff in correctly corresponding folders (oops misplaced the bit of text for the standards, trying to dig it up now).

Perhaps it would be a good idea if we would discuss some standards for it here.

There is just way too much material to include "all fractal related content".

Software alone is probably over 600 programs just for rendering fractal graphics (I know of and have 535 of them).  And that does not even cover all of the versions for each, much less the executables separate from the source codes.

Indeed there are many fractal programs way to much for one person or website to share,
thus a tracker with many peopel sharing parts would be ideal in my opinion.
