Shattering a cd by spinning

Just a simple example I found:

This creates a tree-like shape. Because it shatters at one certain point. Would It be possible to have it break at more points to make a different pattern?

indeed quite interesting, those slomo guy are totally cool
the branching pattern is quite interesting, and the deforming behaviour is interesting as well, the deformation staying at the same place all the time ...
