Experienced Fractal eXtreme plugin crasher!

That's very nice.  It's pretty amazing how much of this interesting stuff is visible deep within the Mandelbrot.

Only a few years ago it would have been almost impossible to reach these areas.

Would like to find out how you work out which path to follow to reach this type of image.  I suppose I could always load this location into KF or MM and slowly zoom back out (or create a zoom movie and watch where it goes).

To anyone viewing my posts and finding missing/broken links to a website called www.needanother.co.uk, I still own the domain but recently cancelled my server (saving £30/month) so even though the domain address exists, it points nowhere.  I hope to one day sort something out but for now - sorry!

It's very simple. First I made an S with tree-structure. Then I zoomed in to one of the tips of the S and repeated that a few times with the resulting shapes. The first shape after the single S is like the one in the center of this render:
