Thank you! Maybe, I should upload original video (4K) or 1440p for watching on computer??? You'll see all details!
If I would have to watch that on my pc it would probably not be able to play it without lag but the idea is ok. It works fine on the hdtv I watched it on.

Motivation is like a salt, once it has been dissolved it can react with things it comes into contact with to form something interesting.

Your movie is nice but it has a couple of rectangular glitches. I think I recognize them from when I tried to optimize "small addons" in KF. Eventually I abandoned this optimization. The sparse areas between the dense spirals sometimes get a slightly different color. The difference might be just a fraction of an iteration. It is not recognizable until you want to make a movie. First the smallest difference get visible when the frames are merged, secondly the main reference has a "deeper connection" when zooming out from a minibrot - I hope you understand what I mean. I hope this can be helpful information

So, I guess, I must don't check "IGNORE SMALL ADDENDS", right?

I'm going to investigate this. You can always uncheck Ignore delta0 if negligible ( Ignore small addends in older versions), but keep in mind that it is the feature that enables the usage of doubles and SIMD instead of long doubles past e600 (and floats instead of doubles before that). Disabling it can result in a large performance penalty, up to 2x below e600 and up to 10x above e600.

I'm not entirely sure, but either the lossless chroma subsampling (4:4:4) or the 4 reference frames prohibit HW acceleration. I tried it both on my Intel HD 4000 IGP and on my NVidia GeForce 620M dGPU, with no success.

very well done! I really liked it..
2 questions:
-How did you sync it to the music? I can't do that with kalles movie maker.. and it really looks very cool, the way you did!
-what codec (with what parameters) did you use? your 1080p looks incredible, especially for the relatively small filesize.. i use a bitrate of 50000 and my videos look worse, (xvid&x264)
