 grin Kalles Fraktaler is a wonderful program. Wouldn't it be lovely if there was a provision to do deep zooms of the Mandelbrot set with fractional powers if possible? eg z=z^2.5+c. Thank you very much.

Fractional or complex powers on complex number involves trigonometri.
High precision trigonometri involved Taylor series, an iterative process including high precision division.
It would be very slow and from what I've seen of fractional power Mandelbrot it's not that interesting, splitting up the Mandelbrot in an intermediate shape between the integer powers with a sharp edge.
I don't think it is worth it?
