If you like to know, I'm experimenting with various ways to use fractals for production, such as animation, film, commercial etc.
Here, I'm using the same basic principle to enhance the renders:
I render the camera path in M3d, and then I run the images through Photoscan (by Agisoft).
It renders a 3d object of the images, unlike voxel stacking its a much more robust and accurate way  to get the 3d model in your scene with matching cameras.
Then I use 3ds max to render the water etc, and they match up perfectly.
