Thanks mate 😊

Yeah very happy with the presentation, though my next Big Render will be more interesting than this one.
They're a bit hard to predict.

Btw, anyone know of any good stitching software for Mac?

Neato! This server is kind of like Google Earth in a way. How did you get over the .5 gigapixel image limit? I haven't been able to render Mandelbrot images larger than .5 Gigapixels (around 23040x23040) without either crashing the software or producing a corrupt bitmap. I would like to do bigger renders though. afro

You'll have to use BigRender for these sizes.
It'll render your picture in tiles you have to stitch together afterwards.

This one took about 200 hours.

here is a list of photo stitching apps. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_photo_stitching_software

if you are using raw bytes, with an RGBA file. each3-4 bytes of an rgba file is the rgba number. you can perhaps do a C program that readallbytes from each file, based on the x and y row numbers, and make a new readallbytes rgba array and save it as a bitmap.
