Hello my name is Magda and I live in Melbourne, Australia.

I am a practicing contemporary artist working with photography, CGI stills and animation.
I want to learn how to animate using fractals especially 3D.
I used to use Mandelbulb3D in a limited way with Pixel Blender with PS CS5 on my old mac 10.5.8. I am updated now to Mac 10.9.4 and I can't use it with pixel blender any more.Very mean of ADOBE!!
I have a project that I am thinking of and I need to use 3D fractals as part of my animation. Unfortunately I am not a maths person . I have downloaded Mandelbulber and am trying to figure it out.
Is there any one living in Melbourne that is able to teach me, for which I  would insist on paying for the lessons. Or any one that can load Mandelbulb 3D in Pixel Blender ?

here is a link to my web site         http://www.magdamatwiejew.net

I love so much of the work here , there is nothing more contemporary than this fractal work. It just makes one feel closer to the source of  life and matter.

hello and welcome to the forums

pixel bender is the adobe shader language if i am not wrong, and there was once a script by subblue written in that shader language, nevertheless, mandelbulb3d is far more powerful wink

Hello and welcome.

Checked out your link, real cool! So can see the potential of  adding fractals into your art work. It should be good! smiley

I guess I will have to post a new post to see if there is any one here in Melbourne Australia that can give me lessons . I have looked at some posts and it's good to see that if I don't manage to be able to do what I need I can commission someone to do it .
Thank you for the replies and the compliment
I am looking forward to checking out the fractal links .

Thanks and cheers
