Hello everyone, Tom Durand (tmdurand) from ALASKA here - and where some of us
(at the FAA) celebrate "Talk like a Pirate Day"... wink

I've been a C/Fortran/Basic/Pascal/etc. programmer for many years, and I love
to see the various FRACTAL programs which are out on the web, and those being
used in the gaming industry (as several have mentioned fractals are being used
to construct mountains, trees, shoreline, etc).

Hope to see you all on the forum...

Hi Tom,

Welcome on this forum! I'm sure you are going to like it here.  Nice bunch of people and I haven't seen a question unanswered here.
Alaska, I always wanted to visit the country.

Greetings from the Netherlands, (summer and quite hot at the moment)
