I believe these are .UPR files (which are known as parameter files), not formulas.  The type of files which reference the actual formulas being used, are found in the .UFM files.

If you wish to know the difference between "formula" and "parameter", try reading what is available here:

...is it possible to send the Ultra Fractal file as an attachment? If there will be more UF files this way, I have to scroll down quite a bit...
Maybe it is also an idea to seperate the different programs used. You will immediately know if there will be files you can use...

Yes, I agree.  The way that you attach your Fractal Explorer .FRS files is very nice, and quite easy to retrieve, without having to do a cut and paste when it is part of the text message of a posting.  Thanks for sharing your parameter files with us!!

If enough people start sharing several parameter files, then sub-groups will most likely get created.  At the moment, there are only a handful.

I should like to share .fim parameter files of the Fractal Imaginator software.

Greetings,
Jules Ruis.

Hi everyone,

I'm a math/physics student in Washington state and I found where fractals arise from. They arise from E=MC^2 (which is a fractal also). I have many fractal drawings that I would love to share, but unfortunately the files size is too large for this website to download. If anyone is interested in seeing them, or in learning where fractals arise from please give me an email.

Sincerely,

Jason D.Padgett

Its my best work i ever tried. I found this flame in a random batch, and spent over 2 months to find optimal parameters (yep, only basic transforms from Apophysis were used!!!). Minimum of post-processing!
