Render Problems with rings2/julian

I'm rendering a flame in apophysis and the final result looks nothing like what I made.

I tweaked a rings2/julian fractal by offsetting the post transforms. I'd just made one without the offsets the day before and it worked fine. This is what I'm dealing with:

I had some problems with this regarding a different fractal before, I tweaked it a little and it came out ok. But I really like this one and don't want to change it at all.
