Fractal Architect 3D

Hi!

I have been beta testing Steven Brodheads' fantastic fractal flame editor Fractal Architect for quite a while, and now I'm very please to announce that the new version is out on the Mac App Store. The new name is Fractal Architect 3D. This is a must have for every fractal lover with a Mac. I think it's the most amazing fractal app out there. What's different with FA3D compared to other fractal apps is that it's so totally Mac. Very intuitive and powerful.

I wonder if there is or will be a Win/Linux version, would be quite handy for me. Also, is there a freeware/trial version avaliable for user tests?

As an artist, I really care about the quality of my renders, and, well, I´m quite used to fast renders - for example a few seconds (dont recall the exact number, less than a minute) for this one http://tatasz.deviantart.com/art/Paisley-367302205 in Chaotica. So I´m very interested in seeing a few render quality and speed comparisons between Fractal Architect, Apo and Chaotica (there is a table on your website, but it just lists features, without giving any actual numbers and render examples). Wonder if you could make a few actual examples, rendering same parameters with same settings in each of the 3 programs above.

If possible, I would also like to know more about the AA in Fractal Architect, since sometimes its quite an issue (for example, UF AA is not really nice, and many users just render their artwork very huge to scale it down later, instead of using the default AA, which is quite troublesome).
