Earth Tapestry

http://www.fractalforums.com/index.php?action=gallery;sa=view;id=14986

A whole-Riemann-sphere Julia set, but nonetheless it has structure, which the coloring method brings out in tans and browns. There are four-armed spirals turning one way clutching at seven-armed spirals turning the other way, as the parameters are near parameters for which there are stable period-4 and period-7 cyclic attractors.

I can see why you named the image as you did, with the majority of the colors in the brown range, and it looking like an aerial and/or space photograph far above the Earth.    cheesy
