Yes, but it's hard in english Grin with closed eyes

It's a mix of three formulas : 1st : Riemann, 2nd : Smoothbox, 3.Foldintpow.

to obtain this fog :

I put the Far Plane in previsualisation window at a very low value (here 40), just to the limit of the view.

In the Lights Options, i put Depth to a value to recover the back of the scene.

I put the d.fog to max and in previsualisation window i change the iteration of the d.fog smiley

I hope you understand.

Perhaps those are Shai Hulud on the horizon?

I don''t remember much storyline, but that fiery Arrakis fiery was a waterless planet.
            I think you've well shown the searing desolate dryness that might exist in such a place.

Absolutely, it's the raw file from mb3D.
For a good fog effect, the "Raystep Multiplier" and the "Stepwidth limiter" is set to 0.1
The Smooth normals is set to 8
