Since I'm the developer of Saturn and Titan it's fitting that I should start things off,

Saturn and Titan are a pair of programs. Saturn is a fractal explorer and Titan is a fractal expander.

Saturn's features (version 3):

Maximum size: 1280x1280
Image can be saved as "seed" files which are PNG files with all the parameters required to generate the image embedded as metadata.
Parameters can be saved as spf (Saturn parameter files) files (XML)
Seed files can be opened via the file menu or dragged and dropped onto the main window.
57 fractal types
All complex parameter types can be substituted with the location in the complex plane if there are no substitutions the formula is calculated as a julia
All fractal types (except Lyapunov) can be orbit plotted
3 types of orbit plot: captive only, escape only, all
A number of initial values in an orbit can be omitted from orbit plots
4 types of fractal parameter, complex, non-complex, complex function and function
Transform set - a sequence of complex functions
Transform sets can be applied to the complex plane and periodically to fractal formula based on a transform sequence (maximum of 26 transform sets)
Can import fractint and UF gradient files
Colour maps can be saved and opened as scm (Saturn Colour Map) files
Configuration is held in an XML file which is saved when Saturn is shutdown so that when Saturn is restarted it will be with the fractal settings that were in use when the program was closed
Changing the current colour map is very simple just select a new map from the list and the image will be updated with the new colours, except where average colouring is used for orbit plotted fractals which will restart calculation.
Multi-precision calculation is supported (except for orbit plotted fractals) for simple fractals the shift to higher (or lower) precision is automatic. (not reliable the mechanism breaks down for more complex fractals formulae
and there is no means to manually set the required precision).

Titan (version 3)

Can open Saturn seed files via the browse button or dragging and dropping the file onto the image area
The required width in pixels can be set
On completion the new image can be saved using the default output name (input name with dimensions added e.g. a,png -> a.12000x8000.png) or saved with a new name.
Maximum image size around 700 megapixels

Saturn and Titan are available for Windows and Linux.

Version 4 is currently being tested

Changes from version 3

Revised zooming and centring
Manual setting of multi-precision where the automatic mechanism doesn't work
68 fractal types
Colour maps can be changed by reordering the colour components
Colour map offset split into offsets for each component, the offsets can be changed independently or in lockstep
Change of programming toolkit: Gtkmm has been replaced with Qt

The reason for the change in programming toolkit was to add an OS X version, unfortunately my iMac no longer boots into OS X due to a GPU fault and can only boot into command line only Linux. There will be no OS X version until I get a replacement, there is little chance of that happening this year.

"Saturn & Titan" , what strange name from a fractals generator.
The name is cool.
Welcome to FRACTALFORUMS for this program

element90,

Found this software duo through the negative mandelbrot discussion (http://www.fractalforums.com/new-theories-and-research/negative-multibrots/) . Because I thought there should be a quick download link here:

http://element90.wordpress.com/software/downloads/

Your software is able to produce some beatiful images, so I'm going to try it out now.
