Hi gang! I have been using MB3D for about a month, after becoming fascinated with 3D fractals after I watched some of subblues movies. Then I stumbled onto some of ellenm1's mandelbulb fractals on flickr, then had to try to find out how to make them myself..
It's sometimes frustrating, but it's rewarding when you can get something worthwhile from the program. I certainly admire the work of those more accomplished,  and hope to equal their efforts one day.
I also work with clay, and am using some of the things I find with MB3D in my clay work.
Frac on!
