This is part of my fractal terrain project.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/WeT3ldZaBSY&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/WeT3ldZaBSY&rel=1&fs=1&hd=1</a>

The body and legs are all made of several evolving 'Mandelbulbs.' It's ray-traced into boxes that make the body parts.
It's movement is using verlet physics, and the voice is made from a creaking door sample!  smiley
It all runs in real-time on a GTX 260.

I like the mandelbulb bug butt! I wonder if twinbee had that in mind when he developed the formula.

Really cool, but you really don't have to make it out of mandelbulbs, a big hairy thing would look better.
Love your rendering engine, good luck with whatever you have planned next for it.

Thanks.
I never said it had to be made of mandelbulbs. It can be any distance field object of any colour or pattern. This is a work in progress.

I had the same thoughts.  When first I saw your terrain project. Any chance you could add a creeper, with perhaps a fractal fireball?
