  I think the 3d versions are Benesi1Pow2 and Benesi2Pow2.  

  The one Bib used for the burning ship video (and calendar image) is Benesi2Pow2.  I'll scrounge up the links to the thread where the first images are located.  

  Bib describes how he got to it in his gallery comments on the image:

  He did a Julia of where the BS variant is "nicest" (somewhere near the point -1.7 on the x-axis).
