Hi,

I have just released version 1.4 of the Fractal Science Kit Examples, a downloadable collection of illustrative examples that provide a taste of what you can do with the Fractal Science Kit fractal generator. Many new examples have been added in this release.

Each of the examples generates a base fractal, and the online description includes experiments to illustrate key concepts that you can use to produce 100s of variations. The description also includes a gallery of over 50 fractal images.

Visit the following link to view the examples:

  http://www.fractalsciencekit.com/tutorial/examples/examples.htm

Examples include Mandelbrot fractals, Julia fractals, Newton fractals, Convergent fractals, Circle Orbit Traps, Isogonal Polygon Orbit Traps, Fractal Sculpture, Kaleidoscope, Apollonian Gasket variations, Kleinian Group Attractors, Kleinian Group fractals, Schottky Group fractals, L-System fractals, L-System Orbit Traps, Phoenix, Quadratic Attractors, Rep-Tiles, Sierpinski variations, Symmetric Attractors, Symmetric Icons, complex analysis visualization, and more.

The examples illustrate the use of the Julia preview feature, complex transformations, symmetry transformations, stereographic projection, Mobius transformations, and several different color controllers.

Finally, the examples illustrate several new features added in Fractal Science Kit release 1.9.

Enjoy,

Ross Hilbert
