This is a very very impressive image! It looks organic and real.. reminding me of an extreme closeup of the hairs on an insect. I shuddered slightly when I looked at it - creepy.

Thanks!! I can take the credit for the organic looking, mainly thanks to the 3D Kaliset formula applied as a texture for the KDIFS fractal, but I must credit Syntopia (Fragmentarium's author) for the realism... the raytracers are getting better and better on every new version update.
