camstudio produces crappy videos with only 1 frame per second or something, could figure out what codec to use, perhaps i need to reduce my screen resolution !? are there any tutorials on how to set up a performant cam studio system ?!?!
i have 6 cores at 2,4 ghz, and an up to date gfx card, so my computer should be able to create at least 25fps videos ....

tutorials: google search > Video "camstudio" = tons of tuts codec: camstudio has a lossless codec, when your hd is not 10 years old this should fit your needs (but you'll have to transcode for streaming)>sorry didn't read slon_ru's advice before resolution: camstudio should be able to record a single window or a predefined area of your screen, so no need to change resolution. camstudio is surely no proffesional tool, but it's free even for commercial use.

omg i got it installed, on my 64 bit system, but the codec is more than crap, i just recorded a window ( ultrafractal ) and it records just some crappy screens, with horrible flickering and horrible colors ... has anyone experience with losless codec using win7 on a 64 bit system ?!?!?
