Not knowing what they were, but overhearing they were considered to be a delicasy (by whom I don't know), I decided to be adventurous and bite into one. I sure wish I had read the warning to remove the hard exoskeleton. My dentist is still thanking me for helping his family go to Hawaii for Christmas.
