Title: Hi Guys & Gals Post by: Stakker1 on November 22, 2011, 08:28:21 PM Hi Guys,
Im Alan and have always had a keen interest in fractals but have only just recently started to experiment with creating my own designs as I want to use some fractal animations for projection at a club night that I put on with some mates. So if anyone has any useful hints and tips feel free to indulge your knowledge towards me. Anyways I look forward to making some new acquaintances and discovering some mind expanding fractal art. Cheers Stakker 1 :) Title: Re: Hi Guys & Gals Post by: bib on November 22, 2011, 10:02:10 PM Hi and welcome to the forums! What is your favorite fractal program so far? Or maybe you are developing your own?

Hi there, At the moment im using ultra fractal 4, im still not fully clued up with the various aspects and elements of fractals to be considering developing my own software yet! Main problem at the moment is sussing how to use the animator in UF4 as I cant get the tutorials open because I dont have Microsoft HTML help installed on my Win 7 64 OS, and cant seem to get it to install :sad1: That said I have been making progress through trial and error albeit at a slower pace than I would like. I also would like to be able to export animations to use in conjunction with a video mixing program called resolume. I have yet to try some of the other fractal programs that are out there as I dont want to start confusing myself by using to many programs at once.. I am still a bit of a noob with regards using fractal software. I also need to read up a bit more on the theory as well so as to understand what the changes I make are doing exactly.... |
