Title: 3D Julia Anaglyph
Post by: Duncan C on April 16, 2008, 01:26:18 AM
You will need red/cyan 3D glasses (red left lens) to best view this image. It should look 3D.

I rendered it with the latest version of FractalWorks, the high performance fractal renderer I'm developing for Macintosh computers.

Being a Comic Book Geek - I always have 3D Glasses on hand!

This looks Yummy!

Great work.  I see I'll have to check for Fractal Works Updates when I get the MacBook back to the internet.  This is absolutely a Unique feature I have not seen built in to a fractal generator before!

Trifox,

In my app you can rotate and move 3D fractals interactively. I created that red/cyan anaglyph manually, but I am planning to teach my app to generate stereo images in real time. That should  be very cool, being able to rotate the image on the screen when it has real depth.
