Title: Please test this 3D anim file Post by: kameelian on October 16, 2011, 01:32:52 PM Hi Folks,
I decided that I was going to test a basic zoomin side-by-side 3D (created in M3D 1.7.4.1). If you see the attached anim file, it isobvious what is expected. All works fine until you start the render as Left and Right images. By frame 30 it is obviously wrong. The Right eye seems fine but the left bears no resemblence to what is expected. I don't know if this is a glitch in the program or my pc - or just my poor 'programming' (I've not done anything to the basic formulas). I tried subframes in linear just to test, but this is just the same. I have had no such issue previously. I wonde if folk could try it and see what they get? Thanks in advance kam Title: Re: Please test this 3D anim file Post by: Jesse on October 17, 2011, 08:16:55 PM The FOV is to big, that makes some troubles... i would not go much bigger than 180 in FOV when stereo rendering.

Thanks for your reply. I zoomed out far to get the small size and numerous items. Otherwise, how would I get so far away(?) Once you get close and there is only one object to render, the stereo works fine - as it ever does. I note what you say, but do not understand why it causes a problem in stereo, when the normal zoom is just as expected. Oh well. Maybe there is no way around it. Thanks Kam Title: Re: Please test this 3D anim file Post by: Jesse on October 17, 2011, 11:09:04 PM To step back i would use the navigator, or you can decrease the Zstart value. Maybe i could fix this issue when i spend more time to get into the code i have written, actually i can't figure out very well what i have done in detail, just see that very high FOV's causes problems... |
