I've been interested in fractals for a long long time, having programmed Mandelbrot zooming on an 8088 machine (Zenith Z100). Lately I've been just looking at all the wonderful images in the IFS gallerys and such and just getting some ideas and trying them out using Wing3D and some of my own plugins designed to help with fractal arrangements. Nice to see another 3D Artist Type here. Write your plug-in for Carrara, and I'll want it! How about posting some obj files? I can provide a host if the file sizes are huge (like they usually are) (I can host obj's with hundreds of MB's in size if needed). Feel free to post some renders in the gallery, this thread, or the images thread if you feel so inclined. Looking forward to seeing your work.
