One of the side effects of using the "circle fold in" transform with the standard Mandelbrot formula the the appearance of tricorn islands in addition to the usual Mandelbrot islands.

Parameters

Formula: Mandelbrot

z = transform(z)
z = z^2 + c

Number of A Transforms: 0
Number of B Transforms: 2
Transform 1: translation, -0.1
Transform 2: circle fold in, diameter 3 centred at 0 + 0i
Transform Squence: ABA
Complex plane transform: none
Initial values of z: c
Image centre: -1.86552 - 0i
Long side: 0.237227
Rotation about image centre: 0 degrees
Bailout condition: norm(z) > 16
Maximum iterations: 100
Colour selection: outer for bailout otherwise inner
Outer colouring: minimum change in magnitude
Inner colouring: fractal dimension of magnitude
Programs: saturn and titan
