Title: First appearance of the "Mandelbulb"

Although the triplex math used for "The Mandelbulb" was first used/publicised by Daniel White when he posted his original z^2+c version in the "True 3D" Mandelbrot thread, the first appearance of "The Mandelbulb" itself (i.e. Daniel's Triplex math used for z^8+c instead) can be found here in Paul Nylander's post later in the thread:
