The curve in the crystal structure reminded me of gas discharge spectra, I think the closest match is argon, however you also get shades of purple for Nitrogen and Oxygen.

Parameters

z = transform(z)
z = z^alpha + beta

alpha = 1.33 + 0i
beta = 0.25 + 0i
Number of Transforms: 2

Transform 2: translation, -0.75
Complex plane transform: power, 0.05
Initial values of z: c
Image centre: 34.0741 + 0.167772i
Long side: 18.8115
Rotation about image centre: 0 degrees
Bailout condition: norm(z) > 16
Maximum iterations: 90
