Title: There should be a "forum games" section. Post by: Xazo-Tak on September 07, 2011, 12:13:23 AM Most forums have a forum games section, they are fun, and we don't have one but should have one.
Might make these forums slightly more popular, and we need more than 0-2 people on at a time, because then if someone asks a question, it takes 2 months to get it answered. We are not like most forums. I somehow doubt such a thing would fit in here. Title: Re: There should be a "forum games" section. :boooo: damn your signature is so annoying! :stop: :now: Title: Re: There should be a "forum games" section. They amount to spam in my opinion. Title: Re: There should be a "forum games" section. Post by: cKleinhuis on September 07, 2011, 02:00:59 AM this is exactly what the layering game is mean for :D
but it has a natural ending ... when it is done ;) i liked the layering images very much, i really think those should be come to a new thriving ;) especially with the copy&paste from mandelbulb3d, though it is not able to layer the rendering yet, as soon as a layering is implemented in those programs, the layering game can be started again ;) but the bulbs and many hybrids are available in ultrafractal, so there is no real limitation yet... i once started the layering contest, wait i search for it .... here it is, the TAG game: http://www.fractalforums.com/fractal-tag-game/ Title: Re: There should be a "forum games" section. It just sort of died. Maybe an M3D game where a new formula or transform is add to the formulas tab for each turn. It would be limited to 6 turns due to the 6 formula max for hybrids in Mandelbulb 3D, but the idea of not changing the previous parameters (and camera angle?) could make for a different sort of game. The 7th person would just start a new file. I don't know how Mandelbulber compares for hybridizing - I never got far with that program :'( But if the parameter sharing format has been straightened out, there's no reason not to include it, and any other software that seems like it could be used. On second thoughts, maybe forums games is not such a good idea because most forums games are spam. DISTRACTION FROM TOPIC (§=> (§=> Title: Re: There should be a "forum games" section.
