Title: Volcanic Landscape
Post by: Sockratease on February 26, 2008, 12:03:10 AM
Hey!  I can post images again.

OK, here is a nice 3D Volcanic Landscape made in Mutatorkammer:

I just had to import that to an image editor and add a bunch of "Stars" to complete the illusion of a landscape:

And the Great Debate over Image Editing Renews!  I think it is Far Better with the stars as a piece of Art.

EDIT:

I found the problem with posting images.

It wont let me post a link out to the site hosting the HUGE renders of images!!!

free webs dot com.  If I link to that site, or even join the two words, the forum objects!!!

Fluffing weird.

Visit Trifox's site (and the home of Mutatorkammer) and the forum therein for links to the HUGE versions of those renders.  It is http://www.fractalmovies.com

Love the glossy jelly mould look on these. Congrats.

Not sure about the stars though - some of them should be fainter than others. Also I bet it would be cool to have some of the stars' reflection in the water, er lava. If you make the lava dark purple, and the mountains red, this would look even more effective.
