Title: How About Some Formulas for Fractal Explorer? Post by: fractalatha on August 11, 2011, 11:13:57 PM I have only found the source code for 3 formulas for Fractal Explorer.
I saw somewhere that there was a Formula folder in the ZIP-file that contained the executable Fractal Explorer code. I got the folder, when I unzipped the archive, but there were no formulas in it. Does anyone up here know where I could get myself some formulas? I need to see how certain functions/expressions are coded for the FE compiler. BTW, I think that Fractal Explorer is in fact a fantastic program that allows us to explore in the most beautiful and rewarding way, the mathematics way, the infinity of possibilities out there. I have been playing with it for about 6 months now. It is now time for some complex functions and parameters of my own. Thank you! fractalatha Title: Re: How About Some Formulas for Fractal Explorer? Post by: lenord on August 12, 2011, 07:03:26 AM There is a lot of FE Spot Files available in the Factal Freebies section of Renderosity, if your not a member you have to join to access the Freebies. There is also the FE Users Group has a Free Spot site where you have a couple thousand Free Spot Files, you can download 10 per day here

Post by: fractalatha on August 12, 2011, 11:27:01 AM Lenord, Thank you so much for your help. I do know that place. This is exactly where I found only 3 user formula fractals which contain the codes for the compiler. The .frs spot files there do not contain any user formulas. I need a few code files in order to see how functions like FuncDisp, etc, are being used. Thank again. fractalatha |
