Title: Video with MB3D - HowTo get output *.WMV or other videoformat?
Post by: Sfumato on July 11, 2011, 09:09:33 AM
Dear friends, I am a newbie in making video, that's why my question may seem stupid. But I searched through this forum and Web and failed to find an instruction\documentation.
The first experiments with MB3D were too time consuming and as a result somewhat a hundred rehdered frames in *.BMP, the second one is an anigif... (I used Animation Maker, rendering and inserting keyframes one by one). I decided to ask You:
1). Can I get a videoformat file with MandelBulber3D? If yes what is the procedure, or can You advise a tutorial (failed to find tuts on MB3D video here)?
2). If no, what software should I get to make that videos?
3). What software would You recommend to add audio to video?
Thank You in advance, sorry for a newbie questions.

hi sfumato.

1. no, not directly. neither in mandelbulb 3d, nor in mandelbulber.
2. i'd recommend "virtual dub". it's free and it automatically loads a numbered image sequence. it saves avi files
3. virtual dub can do this job as well, but not with much ease. for the first steps the built in windows moovie maker is ok. it's easy to use and also generates titles and other effects.

hope this helps you. we all were newbies some time!

Thank You, taurus, for soon reply!
I've downloaded VirtualDub and started studying it.
