Title: Mandelubber: Tutorial blog for beginners
Post by: JodyVL on June 04, 2011, 10:03:57 AM
Greetings fellow Fractalnauts!

I only wish to inform all the newbies out there about my blog, http://mandelubber.blogspot.com/

It starts with the complex plane, and has moved very fast to explaining how the Mandelbrot set is generated, using images and videos :) I hope it helps you guys.

I would also like to ask the more experiences guys to please check it out and let me know what you think. Suggestions are more than welcome, as I'm still developing a direction for it. (Am thinking it'll move away from the maths and more towards tutorials on how to use the different programs - once I learn how to use them that is :D ... Was trying Mandelbulb 3D earlier and felt pretty much lost.)

Lastly, to all moderators, I'm new to this forum too, so I'm going to post this in two other spots so that at least one of them will be in the right place - please go ahead and delete any inappropriately posted topic :)

Many thanks
Jody

Modification: Ok, I've looked around and this seems to be the right spot, so no repeat posting for me.
