Title: More Burning Ship gallery samples Post by: HPDZ on May 17, 2011, 03:37:00 AM I don't want to flood this forum with my new little obsession, but I thought a couple more of my recent gallery uploads might be appreciated, since they are kind of new views into this very old fractal. Most of the rest of the gallery that doesn't feature the deep zooms has been seen before, although (IMHO) not quite as nicely executed. I find it quite cool how below the "waterline" this fractal looks very similar to the Mandelbrot set in the Western Antenna region, while above the waterline it it so radically different. And I was particularly amused by the "Lady" image I found on the deck of the ship, waving her arms in a futile attempt at summoning help.
