This image is a multi software composition. The main structure is derived by a formula from the researches of a friend of mine (Exper, maybe you know him, he's a master of recursions with Apophysis). Chaoscope was the software used to obtain the image. I used the image as a displacing map in Lightwave, to obtain a multi subdivided mesh. In lightwave, too, I composed the mesh with some hiperwoxels particles emitter (mapped and displaced with some simple fractal algorithms). Other chaoscope maps were superimposed in Photoshop.
