Title: Positional lights - user friendly amount control Post by: Erisian on April 11, 2011, 11:03:11 PM Not being a mathematician, I have no clue whatsoever about how to control the amount of light from the positional lights. I'm wondering if this could be put on a slider or something that we can all understand?
Title: Re: Positional lights - user friendly amount control Post by: Kali on April 12, 2011, 12:24:49 AM The notation is quite simple: the number to the right of the letter "E", means the number of decimal places (zeroes) to move... positive if we are adding zeros to the right, negative if we are adding zeros to the left of a fractional number.
Example: 2E5 means 2 + five zeros to the right = 200000 2E-5 means five zeroes to the left of a fractional number = 0.00002 You always can use just normal notation (2 - 0.1 - 1.5 - and so on), but the program then converts to this notation. Hope this helps! Title: Re: Positional lights - user friendly amount control Post by: Erisian on April 13, 2011, 08:37:05 PM Thanks Kali - it makes more sense now. I'll give it a shot when I get home.
