Title: new Conj() option for Barnsley4D Post by: DarkBeam on April 07, 2011, 06:36:20 PM ^-^ The formula needed some fixing so I also added a new option, taken from Olivier Steiger's Barnsley for Ultra Fractal. His formula has many other options but this is the most interesting because it simulates fractal trees and a lot of new beautiful curves including Koch curve and his variations. :)
See the release topic for more info These are the parameters for the awesome tree of life (high detail, and only 25 iterations, because 25 iters already give very good renders): Mandelbulb3Dv16{ N.....E/....2...N.........UWcfk4QOt1.9TcsMrZNA3E2TBHmZUgkwXha1arX/3fzAl/XP6JVF.E ................................SXZ196fAYz1........5./..................y.2..... ................/ME//....6Ex....u1....E2......R9KMcaYKqD/..........c./...w1.8Qx6 w.....kD..../2UNaNaNaNavz........UyD.............................y1...sD...../.. .w1...sD2NKF2e7dZx1..........ErbweAru4djTPDwZWSShtXCCTjfYiGNzMMk4t1ex5oDMlfKHKwJ FunEPYwDcqTEzO29lo8dfIqD......2V0.....................sD..kz0................... ..............................LRR4.0qpN.UOLb/UnRR4.orpN.cVLb/.ESR4.............. ................1....kXEY.EM.Q0.n/...E0....F....T/...Q/....C....y....IHB...UJp2Q wc1U.OPkKnHkvueEjTymYgSs016.Yc..2Xvb.w20.p4HE3yj5Got8VlJqy1...........kA8..Mel4. Take them as a "side effect" of the escape-time approximation, maybe... Take this as a good platform for more experiments :D (http://img40.imagefra.me/i547/kriptokapi/kuyq_85b_u6bci.jpg) (http://i.imagefra.me/7ffi5oic) Title: Re: new Conj() option for Barnsley4D Post by: DarkBeam on April 07, 2011, 06:59:01 PM Okay: KOCH CURVE (the best approx. I can see on UF) is @ (-1.08125 ; -0.675) - very promising spot MANDELBROT TREE (the spot with the best effect on MB, I think. Theorically should be x=0) @ (0.0625 , 1.425) (with conj=1 and flip=0) Now find by yourself the other ones ;D Cheers |
