I've been trying to figure out fractals for years, but I recently got mandelbulb and its just on another level! although my efforts range from boring to clouds of pixels (one adjustment too far!) I once spent six years in LLandudno on the N. coast and it was one of the most beautiful times of my life. I also have a brother in LLantwitt Major near Cardiff. My advice about Mandelbulb is to copy other peoples parameters into the program to see how they are achieving their results and then experiment like crazy!
