It's a funny coincidence that we posted similar fractals the same evening. (Thanks for your comment.) I used the incredibly simple z = z^(0, -2) [plus the mandelbox's boxfold and ballfold transformations, but the basic shape is from the little complex recurrence relation]. I decided to do this after reading a post from DarkBeam saying that no fractal art is possible with complex powers, and that the images generated are "crap" ;D
