Title: Movie for a rock band
Post by: Kali on January 30, 2011, 03:17:38 AM
Hi! This is a movie I made for a rock band from my town, called "Unsocial THC Syrah".
The song it's called "No te quiero" (it means "I don't want you", in spanish)

They will be playing it on a screen at the concerts. I have to do one for each song of they album (This is the first).

I used UF5 and Windows Movie Maker

Hope you like it

Excellent! The pictures fit beautifully with the music. I love the abrupt color inversion at around 3:30.

What is the pixel resolution of your full size version? I would imagine that very high resolution is needed for the movie to project well onto a screen.

the video is cool, but ther color inversion is in my eyes a little to fast!

@Ken, the resolution is 1024x768. But the screen itself is not so big, as they perform mostly on pubs or little scenarios (as for now).
@CKleinhuis, thanks for the suggestion,

Thanks both for your comments.

Nice, although I hope you have some way of syncing it live - otherwise you'll lose all the drama.  I think there are some video projection systems that let you tap in the beat as you go, subtly speeding up and slowing down the video to keep up with the band.  Unless they're playing to a live click, don't count on all your scenes lining up...

Yes, I'm aware of that problem. I was thinking of making a new one that don't interacts with the music, otherwise they will have to play it at a perfect tempo :)
