It's a standard Magnetic 1 (Mandelbrot) in Ultra Fractal. Used my film making skills in making it look interesting.

Both videos posted are beautiful.

My only complaint is the frame rate in the first one. But that may have been an artistic choice, so I shut up already ;)

That was actually not an artistic choice, 12 fps is a standard value I use for images sequences, and most of the times it's the frame-rate I like but didn't thought of changing it this time. A fair complain.
Actually I was wondering if people were interested in a movie like this, but I guess it works, I will make more, better edited versions I guess, and I will make a proper 25 or 30 fps movie.

I think it's stupid though.

Very few people even know what NSFW means!  Something like that should be spelled out and never abbreviated.

But... Content that is Not Safe For Work is one thing.

Pornography is another.

This is an all ages forum, and while some of us feel that such things are no big deal, there are still guidelines which ALL sites that encourage young people to participate MUST adhere to.

I personally feel that sex should be accepted in all places at all times, but know that the rest of the world feels otherwise and must behave accordingly.

I wasn't offended by that content, but I would agree that it doesn't belong on this forum as an embedded clip.

Vimeo has deleted this video in the mean time (by the way, the music video to the Rammstein song "Pussy" was WAY more explicit and also much less intellectual than what you posted).

There are still several user-generated videos on vimeo that provide alternative (non pornographic) videos to the same soundtrack. And your fractal video would be one of them. ;)

okay, let's rephrase this. Several previous uploads of this video have been deleted - I find a lot of links in the blogosphere which now end in a "video was removed" message. The one you linked to may still be active, but I was unable to find it again when I searched ;)

Let us know when you re-do your fractal video (or any other) at a higher frame rate. How long did you have to render by the way?

First of all, sorry for implicating this discussion through asking for the artist.
I agree that this video shouldn't be here, for the reason that some people think censoring things, they feel to be offended by, is the right choice to deal with their individual feeling and this forum seems to be the main discussion platform on fractals and so should be a comfortable place for as many as possible people.
But cmon... a big red banner and a warning? Isn't that a bit too much for someone, who has just forgotten that not everyone is as open-minded as himself?
Now this thread is all about this subject. A discreet edit + pm would have been the right choice in my opinion.
And a few words to the troll-pm: @hgjf2: You really think this message was appropriate? Even if you think your opinion is the only right truth, it's always a bad way to start with flaming instead of asking and exchanging minds, particularly at a place like this, where different people of all kinds seem to live in harmony...

I think the correct word would be adult. Otherwise one might think that it would still be allowed to post videos of married couplex having sex ;)

it might be a little big and rude reaction from me, but we want to make quite clear that both members have been warned, and i want to make it clear that this should not happen again !

and that if anyone spots things like this, the right action is to report it to the admins, and not to private pm the user with offending words, the big red letters are just there because
it was a content that stayed there for quite a while, and i wanted to make clear that i wasnt amused !

perhaps you should start a new thread with the original video, asking for comments, just see it as a historical act!

another point is that i am getting really nervous about that kind of stuff, because i rely on the admin team and the users to report such things, with the amount of posts on this forum, and my real-life work it is somehow running smoothly from the very beginning with some flames here and there, but all in all, not much attention is required by me, but things like this scare me, about what will come, and how could people react !

The liquidy thing you see is honey, I shot that earlier, I like the way it interacts with the fractal and the texture the movie gets, its making it more real, But i gotta work on that, this can be done better.

Nobody has any comments on this? :(

The overlay has an interesting effect, but in the video it acts more as a distraction and reminds me of a big watermark.

Perhaps if you stretched the overlay to be "full screen" - maybe even make it oversized and move it or rotate it with the video - it could have more effect, and be less distracting at the same time?
