Title: My version of Jesse's Phantastic Planet in 4D with similar 4D rotations
Post by: reallybigname on January 08, 2011, 07:42:28 AM
I bet Jesse has already done this...  I took his PhantasticPlanet file, converted the amazing box formula to the new 4D formula, kept the same rotations formula, but then added the same rotation params to the 4D rotations of the box.  I can't wait to explore some more!

Thanks, Jesse!!!  The new version is so cool!  (yes, there is a new version today of Mandelbulb 3D)

Nice POV.  It's the right pattern of organic and structural to seem very natural.

Thanks, Rev!

Although, I have to admit, I stole a little bit of KRAFTWERK'S moves by putting some fog in the distance by using a z-buffer image.  I mean, I've used the z-buffer for focus and brightness and stuff before, but I loved KRAFTY's latest renders with the actual noisy clouds in the distance.  It really adds depth.  As soon as I did that, it looked way more realistic.  (Sky was dark blue)

And, thanks KRAFTWERK!
