Iam new here and new in fractal but i have some questions already. The search function didn't made me much smarter so i hope somebody can help me. I just found an amazing video created with Mandelbulb 3D. Iam wondering were i can find Mandlebulb 3D for mac because i only found .exe files wich i cant run.. If it can't be run on mac, wich program do you suggest to use? I would love to play around and create abstract stuff to put in my mixedmedia videos, please help me. :) Thanks! I never used WINE, and my employer bought me Crossover from here: http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/download_trial/ but if you're savvy, I hear WINE is easy to install and run on OSX. I just never had need to try.
That's a link to a 30 day trial. Buying it is $40, and I think it's worth it! It runs many of my favorite fractal generators on my mac with no problems. It has trouble with only a few - can't run Chaoscope or Mutatorkammer, but can run Chaos Pro, Ultra Fractal, Xenodream, and more! Hope that helps. And Welcome to the forums!
