Alot of fractal patterns, in my view, cross over into real world art (working in physical media like paint, sculpture, weaving, etc.) in the work of so-called primitive cultures. You look at the arts of Africa or Native America, and you see alot of work in patterns that often closely resemble rudimentary IFS fractals. It's as if the fractal patterning is natural to our human sense of aesthetics. The Rev |
