Title: Hello Post by: scientiaesthete on November 28, 2010, 08:01:12 AM Hey everyone,
It has occurred to me that I don't post much. But since I have more time on my hands now, I will be able to share more. But I still haven't given a proper introduction, so here it is. I am very interested in mathematics and physics. I learn mostly on my own, and the internet is a great resource. I have yet to learn the mathematics needed for theories like General Relativity, though I plan to learn soon. I am a beginning programmer, mostly home projects using Java. I find it quite time consuming. I don't remember when I got involved with fractals, but they have helped my love for mathematics and art. Currently I am working on a fractal music project. Thanks, scientiaesthete Title: Re: Hello Post by: hermann on December 06, 2010, 10:58:34 AM Hallo Scientiaesthete, welcome to this forum. I am also interested in Art and Physics. You can have a look on my homepage http://www.wackerart.de/index.html (http://www.wackerart.de/index.html) My fractal programming is also done in Java This is my main fractal page http://www.wackerart.de/fractal.html (http://www.wackerart.de/fractal.html) A good roadmap to mathematics used in physics is the book of Roger Penrose: The Road to Reality. A Complete Guide to the Laws of the Universe. @edit: amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Road-Reality-Complete-Universe-Vintage/dp/0679776311/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1291630470&sr=8-1 Hermann |
