Title: My music Post by: German Fafian on November 23, 2010, 03:26:04 PM I'm not much of an active user yet as I am mostly learning about fractals and I'm nowhere near the level of most people here but I'll get there :embarrass:
Anyway. What I do most of my free time is music. I compose on my guitar and then transfer everything to the virtual world of computers. Sometimes I use a fractal music generating program (Gingerbread) to draw ideas and then modify them to create a more "musical" idea. That's what I did for the set Fractal Dreams (http://soundcloud.com/german-fafian/sets/fractal-dreams) Thanks for dropping by and listening. I hope you enjoy it. :D Title: Re: My music Post by: Meskhenet on March 15, 2012, 04:25:53 PM I have only recently become aware of fractal music and I think it's pretty cool. I could not hear your music though, it didn't work when I went to play it
Title: Re: My music Post by: Erisian on March 15, 2012, 05:03:09 PM Beautiful music! Like you, I'm a musician who knows next to nothing about fractals except that they look nice. Most of my work here is trial and error but the thought of being able to use fractals in music is intriguing. I once imported a Julia set BMP into FL Studios BeepMap and made some incredible sounds with it. Keep up the good work!
