Title: Mandelbrot set interior? Post by: AllIsOne on November 23, 2010, 02:52:14 AM If the the colours of the the exterior of the Mandelbrot set are determined by the speed the iterations go to infinity,
why they do not colour the interior of the set with the speed the iterations go to 0 :hmh: :) What could it look like?! Title: Re: Mandelbrot set interior? Post by: lkmitch on November 23, 2010, 04:18:49 PM There are coloring formulas that allow for that. Basically, what one sees is a series of concentric rings focused on the "center" of the cardioid or disk. The "center" is the point whose orbit actually includes 0.
